Engraved in Black/Blue Slate

Our client came into our showroom in Preston and found a headstone in one of our brochures, with a country scene carved and engraved into it.

After liaising, it was decided that as the deceased worked with Plant and Machinery it was appropriate to design the memorial around this subject.

The customer then commissioned an artist to draw up her design and this was realised onto black/blue slate.

The engraved letters were finished in 24 carat gold leaf and a flower container was fitted on the graveside to the right hand side to prevent obstruction of the verse.
