GRANITE MEMORIAL PLAQUE

Unique wedge shape design for engraved memorial stone

This client approached us for a unique, natural Granite Memorial Plaque.

Her Husband had been a Chorister at their local Church therefore she wanted to incorporate some kind of musical design into the face of the stone.

After some discussion, she decided to have an extract of music from one her Husband's compositions, and this was engraved into the plaque face.

The client also expressed her concern that other Plaques already in the garden of remembrance seemed to collect quite a lot of water and leaf debris, and as they were laid flat, this seemed to weather the plaques and inscriptions quite quickly.

It was decided that a Granite wedge, would be an attractive design and would be a more suitable shape as a memorial stone so that after installation the gradient would allow any water and debris to wash off the front slope of the wedge.
